What were the main household rules when you were growing up? What are the rules in your own house now?
Brought to you by the movie Georgia Rule.
Being an only child for the first nine years of my life, rules weren't really an issue with us. I just kind of did what I wanted, and if it was wrong I'd hear about it. Maybe then it became an "unspoken rule." I don't know why that's in quotes.
There were some loose rules:
- No watching "You Can't Do That on Television"
- No boys upstairs, ever.
- You don't have to eat it all, but at least drink the glass of milk.
- Shirts couldn't be so high, or pants so low, as to show stomach.

I know I haven't posted recently here - still trying to find a good use for Vox. Now that I use Twitter and Jaiku, I feel like I have an outlet for anything that wouldn't be at home on my personal blog. Really, the only feature I like is inserting books. Although - I don't know if you want to hear about the crappy fantasy novels I read. They're usually about talking wolves and magic. Lately, anyway.
What song best describes your current mood?
Submitted by Section31.
Hmmmm. This is a tough one. I've been in a pretty good mood this week (weird, right?) and today is the same. Maybe "Chicago" by Sufjan Stevens. That song always puts me in a good mood, too. It's funny, this made me think about how I don't really listen to music anymore, unless I'm commuting. If I'm at home, I'm probably in the office and Ryan has his music on. Or I'm playing WoW with my headset on. Maybe I should start rocking out more.
So, at the behest of Nicole and Victor, I'm trying my hand at one of these new-fangled Vox blogs. I maintain my regular blog at www.veronicabelmont.com, but this looks pretty fun and very "Web 2.0"
And how can I resist something that's Web 2.0? Yeah, I can't.
So this may be just a mirror of my other blog, and maybe with some added benefits (like the book and collection features) and some private entries for friends only. We shall see!
